We're just starting To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, and one of the first things we notice is how prominently Maycomb County into the life of the Finch family. Think about this particular setting, in a small, Southern town; what might be some of the benefits of small-town life? What might be some of the drawbacks?

Some of the benefits is that it's a small town so its easy to stay in contact and be aware some draw backs is that a bigger town can have more resources which is good for around that time period. And that to much people affiliate in your life and business which isnt a healthy life style.
ReplyDeleteSome benefits of living in a small town would be that everyone knows each other. Everyone would treat each other like family because you'll get to know them better. Some of the drawbacks would be that it;s to crowded to live in such a small environment. Another drawback would be that they would be that they wouldn't go anywhere because everything would be right there for them.

Well some of the benefits are that you can talk to everybody and if someday you need help you can easily contact people in the town. Some of the draw backs are that you might not have enough resources as a big town or city.

ReplyDeleteLiving in a small towns is good because everything a person needs is every close to each other. You can also get to know everyone and form tight realationships. The bad thing is that people can be in everyone's bussiness and know whats going on in your life.
